Amanda has 19 years of experience in providing therapy as a licensed clinical social worker. She has a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Addiction, Mental Health and Trauma from the University of Denver. Amanda also has training in use of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play-centered and Trauma-Informed therapy.
Amanda’s philosophy is providing a safe and fun space to heal. She has an approach that focuses on a holistic view of wellness which supports the mind, body, spirit and community connection a person has. She supports one’s own healing process by “walking beside you” while you create your individualized recovery journey and self-
discovery through use of strengths and personal goals.
Amanda provides services for adults with the need for treatment of Substance/Addiction recovery, difficulty managing anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem/self-confidence, individualized coping strategies, improving day to day activities and achieving personal growth and independence.
