Mary Azar focuses on family systems, infant mental health, child development and trauma-informed care.

 

Mary strives to create a safe environment where her clients feel unconditionally accepted and supported. She is a certified practitioner of the Safe and Sound Protocol.

Andrea Bain-Frye

Andrea Bain-Frye is a trauma-informed therapist who works with children and adults.

 

Andrea believes in meeting people exactly where they are at in life. She is trained in a range of therapeutic modalities including EMDR therapy and the Safe and Sound Protocol.

Gina Bobino is a licensed social worker who has passionately served women, children and families since 2016.

 

Gina offers clients a "come as you are" environment of warmth, acceptance, and unwavering hope. She is a certified practitioner of the Safe and Sound Protocol.

Hannah Brenke is a Counselor Trainee interested in working with individuals ten years and older to help them manage stress, cope with life changes, and pursue meaning-making.

Erin Foreman specializes in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent individuals, and individuals suffering from trauma-related disorders.

Cassandra "Casi" Graff specializes in depression, anxiety and trauma for adults, including survivors of domestic violence. 

 

Casi believes in working with clients at their own pace and using an eclectic approach of therapies. She has specialized training in Cognitive Processing Therapy.

Leslie Gray has over two decades of experience working with vulnerable populations ages six to adult in schools, community-based programs and the criminal justice system. She also has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Samanta "Sam" Habusta's training has focused on family-centered services including child development and parent education, trauma-informed care, and person-centered services.

 

Sam creates a safe space where individuals feel heard and validated. She is certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy.

Michelle "Shelly" Kepford uses the arts to help children, adults, and families heal from traumatic stress.

Shelly strives to meet clients where they are in their journey towards recovery. She is working toward certification in Trauma Informed Practices and Expressive Arts.

Benjamin Leber has several  years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and couples with a variety of mental health and relational issues including anxiety, depression, conflict, grief, and domestic violence.

Ben creates a safe space for his clients where they can work collaboratively to reach their goals.

Krista McCulloch is the founder and owner of Anchored in Hope Counseling. She has experience working with foster youth, competitive athletes, perinatal populations, and developmental trauma.

Krista is trained in Brainspotting, EMDR therapy, and Advanced Nutritional and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health Professionals. She is a certified practitioner of Safe and Sound Protocol.

Dr. Ken Miller has been serving in the helping profession for 50 years serving as a case manager, teacher and therapist. 

Ken specializes in hypnosis and individual group and family counseling to treat anger, anxiety, depression, habit disorders, trauma, grief, family issues and much more.

Kaitlin Nitz

Kaitlin Nitz has experience assisting clients dealing with depression, anxiety, Autism, ADHD, substance use, and many other mental health challenges.

 

Kaitlin enjoys working with adults to address and manage their mental health concerns using solution-focused techniques, mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in treatment.

Abby Ross specializes in working with children, teenagers, and young adults by utilizing different modalities, such as CBT, SFT, and play therapy. She has experience treating different diagnoses, such as depression, anxiety, and trauma.

Abby’s main goal for every client is to build a trusting relationship with their clinician.

Practice Manager

Desiree VanValkenburg

As the Practice Manager, Desiree is responsible for day-to-day operations of the office, as well as the supervision of the front desk and billing departments.

Desiree acts as our HIPAA Compliance Officer and OHMAS Client Advocate. Desiree holds a degree in Business from the University of Phoenix and has many years of management experience. Desiree is the contact person for any questions regarding Anchored in Hope Counseling office policies and procedures, internship inquiries, and grievances.

Receptionist

Faith Kutzly

Along with checking in clients, answering the phone, scheduling appointments, helping with billing tasks, answering any questions clients have, and taking care of emails, Faith does her best to bring a positive and calming environment to the Anchored in Hope Counseling practice.

Client Account Specialist

Maria Williams

Maria focuses on patient accounts, verifying insurance, and discussing billing matters with clients.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Bowling Green State University and intends to apply this knowledge in the day-to-day responsibilities of her position.

Medical Billing Specialist

Jackie Nowowiejski

Jackie is responsible for determining insurance eligibility, developing self-pay arrangements, resolving patient billing problems, and following up on payer denials. Jackie also consults with patients as to initiate private pay collections if insurance is cancelled or denied and on any other billing issues as needed.

Jackie holds a Medical Coding and Billing degree and has many years of experience in the Medical Billing field.
