Erin Riley
Master of Arts, Licensed School Counselor, and Counselor Trainee
Erin Riley is a master’s student in the clinical mental health counseling certificate program at the University of Toledo and is a Counselor Trainee (CT). She graduated with a Master of Arts in Counselor Education - School Counseling from UT in 2007 and is a Licensed School Counselor (LSC).
Erin has experience counseling children, adolescents and teens struggling with anxiety, depression, crisis, grief, substance use, and relationship issues. She has a passion for working with neurodiverse populations and those in recovery from eating disorders. Erin currently volunteers as an eating disorder peer recovery mentor for adult mentees through Rock Recovery and ANAD (National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders).
Erin counsels her clients with a person-centered, strengths-based approach, from a multicultural perspective. She also utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused strategies with clients to support and empower them to achieve their goals, find healing, and reach self-actualization.
