Alexis Pepper, LSW (She/Her)

Child, Adolescent, and School-Based Mental Health Specialist

Alexis Pepper is a Licensed Social Worker who specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and families as they navigate emotional, behavioral, academic, and life challenges. Through school-based mental health services, she helps young people build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and develop healthy connections at home, at school, and within their communities.

Alexis believes that connection is where healing and growth begin. She understands that childhood and adolescence are filled with important developmental milestones, challenges, and transitions that can sometimes feel overwhelming for both young people and their families. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where children and adolescents feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life's difficulties with confidence.

Alexis works with children and adolescents experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges, school-related stress, anxiety, family concerns, social difficulties, and everyday life stressors. She recognizes that when emotions feel too big to manage, school becomes stressful, or communication at home becomes difficult, both children and caregivers can feel frustrated, overwhelmed, and uncertain about what to do next. Through a collaborative and compassionate approach, Alexis helps clients develop practical tools to better understand their emotions, strengthen relationships, and build resilience.

Her therapeutic style is warm, open-minded, and client-centered. Alexis believes every child and adolescent deserves a space where they can express themselves freely without fear of judgment. She works to create a welcoming environment that fosters trust, growth, and self-discovery while helping clients identify their strengths and develop skills to manage challenges more effectively.

Alexis became a therapist because of her passion for supporting children and adolescents through the various stages of development. She finds great fulfillment in helping young people and their families better understand mental health, recognize their strengths, and work together to overcome obstacles. She believes that when children feel supported and empowered, they are better equipped to thrive both emotionally and socially.

At the heart of Alexis's work is a commitment to helping children, adolescents, and families feel connected and supported. She understands that many young people struggle silently with anxiety, frustration, sadness, or feelings of being misunderstood. By creating a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship, Alexis helps clients build confidence, improve communication, and develop the tools needed to navigate life's challenges successfully.

Guided by the belief that "Connection is where healing and growth begin," Alexis strives to create meaningful relationships that foster resilience, understanding, and positive change.

Outside of work, Alexis enjoys reading, hiking, and playing sports.
