Daniel (he/him) specializes in addiction, ADHD, anxiety, bipolar, depression, developmentally disabled, obsessive-compulsive disorder, as well as schizophrenia and other significant psychotic disorder populations.

​He is dually licensed as both an independent social worker and an independent chemical dependency counselor after obtaining his Master of Social Work degree through the University of Toledo. With over 17 years of clinical practice and over 25 years of work throughout related fields; Daniel has worked with many specialized populations, including those battling addiction; those with developmental disabilities; and those with severe mental health diagnoses; with the majority of his work being in and around the legal system

Autonomy, care, compassion, healing, honor and respect, individual choice/preference, self-determination, self-worth, and strength are core concepts across his individual practice style with a focus on trauma-informed existential, narrative, and solution-focused approaches to therapy. Daniel is also well-versed in behavioral, cognitive behavioral (often including mindfulness), motivational interviewing, and person-centered approaches.
