Desiree serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Anchored in Hope Counseling, where she leads organizational operations, supports strategic planning, and guides the systems and teams that make quality care possible. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Working closely with the CEO and clinical leadership, Desiree translates the organization’s vision into actionable priorities. She oversees operational performance, organizational policies, workforce planning, and administrative leadership, helping ensure that the practice has the structure, resources, and accountability needed to serve clients and support sustainable growth.

A central part of Desiree’s role is strengthening coordination across programs and departments. She leads organizational change, addresses operational challenges, and evaluates how decisions affect employees, client access, service delivery, and the long-term health of the organization. Her approach combines clear expectations with practical support, helping teams navigate challenges while staying connected to the practice’s mission.

Desiree also provides leadership in compliance, risk management, and quality improvement. As the organization’s Safety and Compliance Officer, HIPAA Compliance Officer, and OHMAS Client Advocate, she helps integrate regulatory requirements and client protections into organizational policies and everyday practice.

Passionate about developing strong leaders and teams, Desiree works to build a culture where compassion and accountability go hand in hand. She believes employees do their best work when they understand expectations, have the resources to succeed, and feel supported in their professional growth.

Outside of work, Desiree enjoys hobby farming and spending time with her children.
