Trinity Gasser, CT
Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Mental Health
Trinity is a Counselor Trainee pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of Toledo. She works with children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, behavioral concerns, trauma, life transitions, and other emotional challenges.
Trinity is passionate about helping clients recognize their strengths and build confidence in their ability to navigate life’s challenges. She believes every individual has the capacity for meaningful change and growth, even during difficult seasons. Her goal is to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted as they work toward changes that matter to them.
Trinity understands that life can feel overwhelming and that people often carry difficult experiences, thoughts, and emotions on their own for far too long. Children may struggle to express what they are feeling, adolescents may face increasing social and academic pressures, and young adults may feel uncertain as they navigate new responsibilities and transitions. Through a warm, empathetic, and collaborative approach, she helps clients explore their experiences, better understand their emotions, and develop practical coping strategies.
Her therapeutic style is person-centered and tailored to each individual’s unique needs, goals, and experiences. Trinity believes clients are the experts on their own lives and that meaningful therapy begins with authentic connection. She emphasizes empathy, acceptance, and collaboration while helping clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, explore personal strengths and values, and identify realistic steps toward healing and growth. She strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves.
Trinity was drawn to the counseling profession because of her belief in the power of connection and the importance of having a space where people feel truly seen and understood. She finds meaning in supporting clients through difficult seasons and helping them recognize their ability to make positive changes in their lives.
At the heart of Trinity’s work is the belief that people are more than the challenges they are experiencing. She is committed to walking alongside clients as they explore emotions, build confidence, and discover what helps them move forward. Whether supporting a child with emotional challenges, helping a teen navigate stress, or guiding a young adult through a life transition, Trinity approaches each client with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
Outside of the office, Trinity enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing with her favorite comfort shows.
