Krista McCulloch is the Owner and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Anchored in Hope Counseling, where she guides the organization’s vision, mission, and long-term direction. As both a clinical professional and business owner, Krista brings a commitment to compassionate, trauma-informed care to her leadership, helping shape services that respond to the needs of individuals and families.

Working closely with the COO and clinical leadership, Krista sets organizational priorities, supports program development, and guides the practice’s continued growth. Her leadership centers on maintaining a strong clinical foundation while building an organization where staff feel supported and clients receive thoughtful, person-centered care.

Krista earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Bowling Green State University and her master’s degree in Social Work, with a specialization in Children and Families, from Eastern Michigan University. Her clinical background informs her approach to leadership and her commitment to understanding the experiences of both clients and the professionals who serve them.

Krista is fully trained in Brainspotting and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, which she uses when working with clients experiencing varying levels of trauma. She is also trained in Advanced Nutritional and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health Professionals and is a certified practitioner of the Safe and Sound Protocol. Her experience includes working with foster youth, competitive athletes, perinatal populations, and individuals affected by developmental trauma.

Through her work as a clinician and CEO, Krista remains dedicated to creating opportunities for healing and strengthening Anchored in Hope Counseling’s ability to serve its community.
