Robin McCarthy

Robin is a graduate student at the University of Toledo, currently pursuing a master’s degree in Recreational Therapy, an evidence-based field that uses structured recreational activities to support clients in reaching their personal, social, and emotional goals. In addition to their studies, Robin works as a Program Aide in after-school and summer programming, where they are dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for every child.

With several years of experience working with children in a variety of settings, Robin is passionate about helping kids navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. They strive to introduce and encourage positive leisure activities that not only provide enjoyment but also help build self-esteem, social skills, and a strong sense of self. Robin’s goal is to empower children to discover their strengths and develop healthy outlets that support their overall well-being.
