Nicole Earl, MSW, LISW (She/Her)

School-Based Services Supervisor

Nicole Earl serves as School-Based Services Supervisor at Anchored in Hope Counseling and is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who specializes in helping children, adolescents, and young adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and life's transitions throughout Northwest Ohio.

As School-Based Services Supervisor, Nicole is passionate about increasing access to mental health support for youth and ensuring that children, teens, and young adults receive the care they need to thrive both emotionally and academically. Her leadership is rooted in a deep understanding of the unique challenges young people face and a commitment to creating supportive, accessible pathways to healing.

Nicole works with children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors, suicidal thoughts, trauma, life transitions, and adjustment difficulties. She understands how overwhelming it can feel to navigate emotional struggles while balancing school, relationships, family expectations, and everyday responsibilities. Her goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where clients feel understood, valued, and empowered to work toward meaningful change.

Nicole became a therapist after recognizing a significant need for increased mental health support among children and teens. Drawing from both professional experience and personal understanding, she is passionate about helping young people find hope, develop healthy coping strategies, and recognize that they do not have to face life's challenges alone.

Her therapeutic approach is supportive, reflective, and individualized to each client's needs. Nicole utilizes an eclectic blend of evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), strengths-based approaches, and Motivational Interviewing. She believes that every client possesses unique strengths and resilience, and she works collaboratively to help them build confidence, improve emotional regulation, and develop practical tools for managing life's difficulties.

At the heart of Nicole's work is the belief that healing begins when individuals feel seen, supported, and understood. She strives to meet clients exactly where they are while creating a therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and encouragement. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm behaviors, or a difficult life transition, Nicole is committed to helping them discover their strengths and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling future.

Nicole understands how stressful and overwhelming day-to-day life can become, especially for young people facing emotional challenges. She wants every client to know that support is available and that healing is possible, even during life's most difficult seasons.

Outside of the office, Nicole enjoys going to the gym, spending time outdoors during the summer, and making memories with her dog.
