Rebekah Arcuri, CT
Pre-Adolescent, Adolescent, and Emerging Adult Mental Health
Rebekah Arcuri is a Counselor Trainee at Anchored in Hope Counseling pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bowling Green State University. Her academic background is in Human Development and Family Studies, with a minor in Music Industry. She is passionate about supporting pre-adolescents, adolescents, and emerging adults as they navigate life’s challenges, develop self-understanding, and recognize their strengths and resilience.
Rebekah believes every person deserves a space where they feel heard, respected, and supported. Her goal is to create a welcoming environment where clients can explore their experiences, build confidence, and take meaningful steps toward their goals. She views counseling as a collaborative process that honors each person’s unique needs, values, and experiences.
Rebekah is especially interested in supporting individuals, couples, and families navigating substance use concerns, trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, and life transitions. She recognizes that these challenges can affect how people understand themselves, connect with others, and manage everyday life. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, she helps clients explore their concerns while recognizing the strengths they bring to the counseling process.
Her counseling style is person-centered, holistic, and trauma-informed. Rebekah considers each client’s experiences, relationships, and circumstances as part of understanding their needs. She strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can participate actively in counseling and work toward changes that feel meaningful to them.
As she continues developing as a clinician, Rebekah is committed to ongoing learning. Her future goals include pursuing additional training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), earning the Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) credential, and progressing toward independent counseling licensure and supervisory credentials. She also hopes to earn a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision and teach future counselors.
At the heart of Rebekah’s work is the belief that clients bring strengths and resilience that can support their growth. She values the opportunity to help people better understand themselves, recognize their capabilities, and move toward their goals with greater confidence.
Outside of the office, Rebekah enjoys music and nail art. She values creativity and authenticity in both her work and everyday life.
